Blue Dreams Coming True?

In pilot deadline hell, so I’ve missed a blog or two, but, in short, the Dodgers are doing everything they have to do. Guess I was wrong about the Rockies making another run. If the Dodgers are able to sweep them today, the Mountain Range will be all but mathematically eliminated. With the Snakes losing AGAIN - boy do they stink - the Blue are now 4 1/2 games up with 14 left to play. Looks like our Dodgers are headed to the post season, but they have to keep the momentum going. They have to continue to make a statement. They need to beat up on the lowly Pittsburghs, San Diegos and San Frans and put this thing away.

Good thing the Stink went back on the DL. Now there’s no way Torre can try to use him again. Kershaw looked good last night, but they still need a 3rd starting arm to shine for any hope of winning in the Playoffs. Kuroda’s gonna have to get in high gear or Penny’s going to have to make a miraculous comeback. I don’t think young Clayton is ready to handle that kind of pressure and responsibility. As good as he may become, he’s no Fernando in 1981.

Congrats to K Rod for breaking Bobby Thigpens season save record. With Cleveland's Cliff Lee having a lock on the Cy Young and no clear AL MVP - Pedroia, Youklis, Hamilton, Morneau are possibilities - why not give the MVP to K Rod? May just happen.
